E-AHPBA E-MIPS Registry 2018-09-10T21:58:27+00:00

The European consortium on Minimally Invasive Pancreatic Surgery and the E-AHPBA Scientific & Research Committee have developed the idea of setting up a Registry on Minimally Invasive Pancreatic Surgery throughout Europe. Data on all minimally invasive pancreatic cases will be collected. Data collected in the Registry will be used to monitor safety outcomes and for future research.

All centers (connected to the E-MIPS consortium) performing minimally invasive (including laparoscopic, robot-assisted and hybrid) pancreatic surgery will be included in the Registry. Data will be collected at 3 standardized moments per year (January – May – September) and 3 randomly selected centers will be audited by the Study Coordinators. Besides, outcomes of the Registry will be presented during the yearly E-MIPS meetings.

Pilot phase: starting November 1, 2018. Centers interested in participating in the pilot phase can contact the study coordinators directly.

Official starting date: January 1, 2019.
